Bullying and Harassment

Post by Slinky1 »

Injured myself on my round and doctor signed me off work for 2 weeks. Manager continued to call me and ask me in to fill out accident form for next few days. In pain and on strong medication, but they wanted me in to do clerical work. Don ringing me at home saying I could come in even though my doctors signed me off. Basically telling me the doctors wrong and i should be in. Feel intimidated and stressed because of this and have the forms to file a complaint. My sick record is good and have never had to do anything like this before. Does anyone know the procedure and how long it takes. Also worried about the come back on me. Thanks

if he wants you to fill a accident form out tell him to post it to you to do and return it , just tell the dim im not fit for work and I will be off as long as it takes and I will keep you informed when my sick notes expire to what is happening , and if you continue to pester me with phone calls I will take this further as its not helping and if you have any issues or problems with my illness / injury contact my consultant / doctor as they are medically qualified to do this and you aren't , and you need to contact your rep or area rep and tell them :thumbup

Personally I'd leave it the union to sort out. The screws are less likely to try and bullshit them but bullshitting the rank and file is their raison d'etre. The lines of communication are there only for them to hound you back to work before you cost them too many lost man hours.

Come the revolution......
