Part Time Wage basic pay error

Hi.
I came across a post on facebook there about part timers receiving the wrong amount in their wage as an error in the basic pay input.
The post states that their contract hours are 28hours 30minutes per week, the basic pay part of their wage slip says 28.30..... but they say this should actually say 28.50?

Can anyone inform me if Royal Mail is correct or if the post on facebook has a point? If so I have been paid wrong for years.

The minutes are in minutes not decimal fractions of an hour, so 28.30 is 28 hours and 30 minutes.
