PDA on/off button

Does anyone know why this button doesn't work sometimes?

It bugs me when that happens. Even worse when I'm trying to scan a parcel in front of a customer. Usually I take out the battery and pop it back in again to try and get the PDA to come back to life.

But I'm not sure as to what causes the failure.

if it doesnt work press the oval on the bottom right of the screen .. then it will work

At the bottom of the pda, where there are 4 symbol buttons (back button, home button, 3 lines and a circle) press the circle button and this makes the power button work again. Don’t know what it is but that always works for me

usually doesn't work for me if something is in the parcel optimiser thingy
