Please could someone tell me what a 'rolling recruitment' means?
I only ask as I was a Christmas casual for Xmas '18 at my local MC and then transferred to my local DO but as an Angard temp and the big boss has put in a transfer request for me to become a permanent postie but mentioned something about my DO being on a 'rolling recruitment'

As RM can't keep its staff and it takes so long to recruit to vacancy's ( ie someone can give 7 days notice and leave but it can take 2 month to recruit a replacement ) they are now recruiting a set number of staff per month in an area as replacements.
