paternity leave

If you have 26 weeks service you are entitled to two weeks off but only with Statutory Paternity Pay which is £145.18 and government paid, only two weeks full pay at years service. If you don't have 26 weeks service talk to your DOM, He could let you take some time as holiday at their discretion. Maybe do a deal if he needs an one or to days off worked to help cover failing walks. It's worth asking not all managers are idiots just most of them, some do have a heart.
