Registering on the CWU website

I joined the union a few years ago but have never registered with the union web site. When I put in my details membership number, name and date of birth I get a message saying details not on their database! Any ideas?

Have you followed the instructions that are on their website: https://membersupdate.cwu.org/Membersar ... fault.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

CWU members that joined before November 2009 were sent log in details with the January 2010 issue of the Voice Magazine. If you have forgotten/mislaid those details, use the “Forgotten your password” link above. If you became a CWU member after November 2009 you will need to register for the service by clicking register button.

I joined in 2013 and tried to register but it came up with the message not finding my details on the database. I did out of curiosity tried forgotten password and when I put in my email address it came up with a box with the word answer against it! I am guessing you need to be something memorable as an answer to a question if later on you forget the password. But need to register first!
