Question really for the guys at mcs is there a back log or are we clear . Just wondering if tomorrow will be busy . Merry xmas to you all

How was Christmas in your MC, always clearing or was there backlog in getting everything out to certain DOs? I assume there is a few trailer loads of catalogues/credit card bills ready to hit soon though.

Few manic days but was clear most days. always a few deferred containers lying around at xmas not that ile worry got the week off.

Ours will be busy for sure. No Christmas temps were brought in to help out (disgrace) backlog of stuff now. Every day has been busy. :D

Asked to start early tomorrow on o/t and told to brace ourselves!
Never seen volumes like Thurs, Fri and Sat in twenty years!
Not going a minute over, off to the pub and home.
If the public don't know when the 25th is not my problem!

Expect to get absolutely hammered on last minute Specials tomorrow, then we'll clear the Tracked and if there is any time left after that we'll deliver some letters. What doesn't get done will have to wait till Thursday as not going over.

Yep, just been asked to go in early tomorrow, got to staff up! Going to be a grueler right up to my finish time. Then what’s left is left till Thursday .

I remember when Christmas Eve was all about just clearing the sweepings up and get yourself off home and merry Christmas.

Temporary sorting centres really take the pressure off the MCs. I've been told that everything but everything gets sent to them to justify their costs. [That being said, everything was up this year in our place.]

MC supposedly clear, so should be a relatively relaxing final day before the break that we have all earned... But not holding my breath until I get in and see what has come through.
