I was Banned from driving due to DR10 in March 2013 and have had my licence back for nearly two years, i have applied for a postman with driving job and wondered how much my dr10 ban will affect me. I also have 0 points on my licence.

There more concerned about points there’s a couple of lads on driving with dr10s on their license but 0 points

You must be wrong mate . A DD or DR are 10 year on licence points but actually on for 11 years somehow. Same as I used to have six points that were for 3 years but actually stayed on for 4 years.

You have to declare a drink driving conviction, or indeed, any motoring offence, to your insurer for five years.

DR10 can stay on your licence for 11 years from conviction. From an insurance website.

It's best to be honest about it, be prepared to explain in interview about it.
