Full time part time

If there are two reserves in the office one is full time.one is part time (6 hour days) who in your office gets preference,I'm a full timer since 1999 and the manager in the office seems to be disregarding my years service,by giving the part timer the easier duty, when I ask why I'm given no explanation but told to get on with it and stop moaning,,when I asked the office union rep he says to me it's properly because the part timer can't complete this certain duty in time but you can,I've been through the rough end when I started why am I still getting the rough end of the deal just because I can do the job.anyone thoughts would be appreciated

It makes sense that the person who has less hours does the “easier” duty as they have less time

So seniority doesn't count anymore then?.is what you are saying,I take it your a part timer,why not instead have dutys just for part timers then

Put it this way if your not a part timer,and you've been in the job for a long time,and suffered years back when seniority was taken seriously and when the top bloke had the easiest down to the last who had the hardest wouldn't you find this unfair

Job and jack is dead. You have more hours to work. The "easier" job as you put it probably has less hours in it. Work to time regardless of seniority
