Change.org - Post Walkers Crisps packets campaign!!!

Lookout Leicester!

Someone needs to have a word with change.org. Isn't this going to screw up the sorting machines and annoy the posties whose round Walkers is on?

I find this ironic. Loads of leaflets and booklets are just loose. Even door to doors. Letters end up inside and its a pain in the neck.

Seems like a worthy campaign but, man, is it even hygienic? Couldn't one of their how to steps have been to wipe the packet round with a sterile wipe or something?

What is the purpose of returning the crisp packets to Walkers ? I couldn't see more details or the campaign reason for it.

They want Walkers to make their crisp packets out of compostable/biodegradable material rather than unrecyclable plastic/film stuff.

There are two crisp packets in the letterbox I collect from. I've not looked at them to see if there is a address on them. But what I do know is they have been there for weeks haha.

on the news today saying royal mail wants them to stop posting them as they have to be sorted by hand ,, any one else thinks that will give the campaign a real boast , get ready for thousands in the boxes .

BBC reporting that Royal Mail had handled about 30 so far.

Must have had 100s in the boxes I’ve emptied this week,but Royal Mail say only about 30 so far in all of the country?
Looks like figures being manipulated again by Royal Mail......they would never do that

If RM reported there were hundreds of thousands being returned it would encourage others to do it. It's like when you get a march against whatever issue in London the police or authorities always underestimate the numbers attending. Peaceful protest is fine with 'the man' as long as it's totally ineffective. As soon as a protest becomes effective they infiltrate it or use black ops or the TSG etc. The other day a few guys in a protest that was effective against fracking got I think eighteen months in jail. Some people don't get eighteen months for murder. Money is held in higher regard than people's lives I'm afraid.

Not quite as minging as the faeces samples that we also have to handle.

Again, a worthy cause (bowel screening) but I don't think we should be handling them or have them going through our pipeline when we have customers sending and receiving food items through the same system i.e Graze, Hotel Chocolat etc

Crisp packet volumes are down it's official and we can enjoy lapsing again while the gaffa eats his cake with crisp's on top!

I have just reached the age when they send the bowel screening packs out , it is a very small amount of faeces in side covered by a sealed cardboard flap and sent in a secure plastic envelope , you would have to go some to get it open.
