Every office has them, some in our office some are so up themselves nobody wants to work with them, others are so far up the managers arse it’s embarrassing, I blame week management for most of the trouble in delivery offices in RM, the only thing ours are any good at is gossiping, I would give them 10 out of 10 for that.
Wish RM would except that 2 in a van does not work, we have had scraps on the delivery office floor because they hate each other so much.

The title is just me being polite. We have a colleague in our d.o. who is in danger of alienating everyone, bar the odd one or two. Arguments and disagreements on the walk, claims of unfair division of labour, personal verbal attacks etc are not uncommon. There are other instances that would identify all concerned so these will have to remain unsaid but are numerous enough to be the rule rather than exceptions.

It is accepted that there is a mental health aspect to some behaviours and thus far the only recourse has been to ask the managers that you are not placed to work with this person rather than get them in further trouble and maybe losie their job. It is a prickly nettle and no one is willing to grasp it as the feeling is that things will get very messy with claims and counter claims and featuring a dramatis personae that wouldn't look out of place in a biblical epic.

Anyone here had to deal with something similar? Was it resolved? What should we do?

The question that has to be asked is why? Is your DO the type that doesn't work to the rules (use equipment etc), doesn't take breaks, always does lapsing no matter what and hop skips and jumps to the managers tunes? Is he on different employment terms to most others, does he have other commitments? You have to remember that most people that comment on these forums stick to rules, want their breaks and won't do lapsing if possible. In some DO's I imagine this is not the norm and will annoy runners, non-break takers etc etc.
