Please correct me if I am wrong, but your contract changes with collective bargaining when the union get a pay deal.

The contract states "subject to Royal Mail policy and collective agreements".
Your contract doesn't change but the policies and collective agreements do.
I started on a 42hr 6 day a week contract...subject to collective agreements. That contract is still valid even though the hours have changed because it was always....subject to etc.

There's no real point in having a copy of your original contract because the specifics are outdated and everything you're entitled to is contained within the relevant agreement or policy that cover them and there's no such thing as an updated contract because unless the employer dismisses and then re-employes your old contract stays valid.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

The company cannot change your terms and conditions (your contract) without your agreement, which in practice means through collective agreements between the union and management. No-one on the 'shop floor' has an individual contract agreement with management, although there are always those who like to think they have :Very Happy
