Payment lump sum?

Been hearing in the office we’re due a lump sum from October due this month.

Is this correct? Knew about the pay rise but thought they were already in effect not being paid in a sum.

Supposed to be paid 4th May in a lump sum, for those on weekly pay.

Does this apply to part timers or just full time?

Though it's pro rata for part-timers, obviously (though it does include overtime payments for everyone, which is only fair).

This lump sum is your pay rise backdated to 2nd October and will include all hours worked both contracted and overtime and also the increase to any supplements you receive.
