still getting Xmas cards

In our delivery office with a date stamp on the cards of 15th December !!!!

Kind of funny really that we'd get in trouble for failing but managers etc don't. Ah well, they have another year to plan to fail again next Christmas.

Well "eastie" dont be surprised if your still seeing these dated cards well into next week going by
the amount of mail that that hasn't yet gone through the system in our MC is anything to go by,
this indeed would appear to be the year Christmas was privatised.

Fair enough about the ones dated a week or more ago that's down to us... but there were plenty of xmas cards in the boxes I emptied on the 23rd, not sure how these muppets thought they were going to arrive by Christmas.

We had mail in today date stamped 6th December from West Yorkshire MC , taken over 20 days to do 70 miles

Don't worry, happens every year. Xmas cards will appear all through January, not machine sorted just for us to hand sort. Where have they been, who knows, as long as the sorting office get them out the door, no problem.

It happens every year to a degree but it will be much worse this year .

I delivered probably a dozen xmas cards today, but unbelievably I also came across a letter from the Costa Del Sol date stamped 27/12!!

Still receiving Christmas cards! What a shambles this year has been! Just doing it on the cheap! I can see the courier headlines now Royal Mail delivers Christmas! What was once a national institution,loved and trusted by the public,is now becoming a national disgrace!

Who is to say they are not happy new year card's? as I do not open them I can not confirm this but Happy New Year.
