Im hoping someone can shed some light on my question, i have asked my local rep 5 times and still waiting so here goes.
My line manger informed me i was going for a stage one interview, a few days after i returned to work.
That was fine, but what i need to know is, how long do managers have before they can decided to issue me with a stage or not
at the time of writing this i have been waiting 8 weeks for a decision, there must a time frame for them to issue a stage
I feel they have had plenty of time.
If there is such a time scale on stage ones could someone please let me know.
Regards Mal

Stage 1 Qusetion
There is no fixed time, but it has to be reasonable.
8 Weeks isn't reasonable.
If they do issue the stage 1 then the rep should ask for it to be backdated otherwise you will be being treated unfairly.
They can still issue the stage, and they can decide not to backdate it and you can't appeal that decision.
However, you do have the option of putting in a grievance.
