They keep on lumping extra calls onto my round because apparently whoever does it on my day off is always back earlier! Age and health differences are not taken into account. Nor how these people actually do the delivery including having one or more bags on their shoulders to "save time!" But I am told that their is no pressure on me and my knee issues are now fine!! Thank goodness the DIMS are medical experts!! Jobs a nightmare these days and local union reps are best friends with the DIMS and don't actually do any delivery themselves!! Indeed before the "Methods revision" the union rep before he took that job did this particular delivery in a slightly different form and ended up leaving mail behind and not doing D2D so he could complete! So he has a short memory as well!!

Of course, the reps are best friends with the DIM. Its the only way they can assume some sort of control over what they are doing and sod the rest of us. I got nothing against the reps, looking after their own backs first and without them, the office would be a whole lot worst.

All you have to say to the DOM when he says that Postman X finishes before you is 1/ did he come in at the proper start time 2/ did he have his meal relief 3/ did he use a trolley...... or ask him to come out with you on delivery and ask you where you can shave a hour off your round
