There's lots of Old Cottages, Old Smithys, Old Police Houses etc in the DO and some even have the same name. So it's a pain on IPS trying to get all these to the right walk. Admittedly he usually puts his post code so that can help (although we don't all memorise all the postcodes in the DO
). He's been putting the Red "Dear customer this mail doesn't show your correct postal address" sticker on his mail in an attempt to at least get the road name included.Upshot is the customer's made a complaint to customer services (Who as we know NEVER back up us Posties)
It's come through to the DO that the Customer now has an "Alias" for his address (DOMs made a note in the walklog = Big Deal). He's been instructed to stop put stickers on this customers mail. Seems he's a bit of a "Victor Meldrew", why he doesn't like to use his full address is a mystery. 
I've never heard of these "Alias" Addresses before... any comments? 
Thank God not all residents are stupid, however I suppose if all those cottage names were entered into the A Plus the mech should at least put them in walk order?
