D2D question

I've a question I I'd like clarified. Are part timers paid to put in their own door to doors? Our manager told us yesterday that if we are finished early enough we've to advance the next days door to doors, including part timers. I questioned it and he said he'd clarify the process at a meeting on Thursday. I was always under the impression that door to doors were never to be advanced and also part timers weren't to put them in?(although most do anyway)

D2ds are part of the workload now so no-one is paid specifically to do them. Also as they are part of the workload it means that the bosses can make any request about them as long as it's reasonable.

As to a advancing them only is delivery barred, preparing them is fine.

As the inclusion of D2D into the workload was touted as a 'good thing' by the union when the payment per D2D was stopped, do the screws actually include the number of leaflets in any calculation of amount of mail per walk?

Dunno, but look forward to hearing the answer since the last 5 years have been many swings (# of d2ds, 52 weeks a year, more parcels, more scanning) vs precious few roundabouts.

so if that's the case 7 items of d2d's that I have this week for one column of 80 slots is 560 items per day
