MEMORIAL EVENT IN CELEBRATION OF BERNARD’S LIFE - SATURDAY 25TH MARCH 2017, SWANSEA

I write further to LTB 034/17 in which I advised branches of the sad passing of our dear colleague Bernard Roome, former NEC and T&FSE member.

I informed branches that further details would be provided in due course of a memorial event in celebration of Bernard’s life. Grace has recently let me know that she is in the process of publicising this and would wish for me to circulate these details to all branches. Therefore, I can confirm the following arrangements:-

DATE: Saturday 25th March 2017

VENUE: The Grand Hotel

ADDRESS: Ivey Place, High Street, Swansea, SA1 1NX

TIME: 3.00pm – 5.00pm

The hotel is located next to Swansea station. A reasonable room rate at the hotel is available (£80 based on two sharing) and those contacting the hotel should mention their attendance at the memorial event. Again, should friends and colleagues of Bernard wish to contact Grace, you can do so by email on gmitchellhome@yahoo.co.uk.
