How many hours do you have to work, if you go home from work feeling unwell

How many hours do tou have to work, if you go home from work sick for it not to be added to your record as a sick day, I have heard 2 hours, anyone know for sure?

If you come in ,from what I understand,even for 5 minutes and then go home sick,it does not count as sickness absence.

1hour and it will go down as part sick day unless you abuse it and even then they have to write to you explaining part day absences may go against you in future

I have been shown the appropriate guidelines/rules by my rep and there is no minimum attendance time.
Management has to inform you that future part absences will be treated as sick leave. I avoided a stage warning because my lino failed to notify me.

Yes it will, as long as you are told - this will be a part day sickness absence -it MAY not count towards a stage but will still be recorded as a part day absence - too many of these are you may be informed that any future part day absences will count towards stages
