So we are about to start a resign and we have room for up to 5 job share duties (10 posties, 3 day week must be singleton vans)
So how would a resign work surely has to be in seniority order (150 posties)
Some posties wanting job shares are seriously low in seniority though?
What happens of we get to say number 100 and there is one permanent single duty left but below him are two guys who want a job share
It transpires that this job has to go job share else our hours will be wrong from revision and a job share slot won't be filled
What a mess

Resign, seniority and job shares
Not sure how "legal" or whether it fits in with agreements, but couldn't the job shares team up before the revision and then either average out the seniority of the pair, or use the highest or lowest one, and the senior of the pair (in consultation with their pairing) chooses the duty.
If there are no fixed duties left, then like everyone else they become day off covers, or reserves.
Would need checking out for compliance though.
