Woodbridge delivery office in Suffolk became the first site to trial our new PDAs last week.

We are piloting our new PDAs in delivery and collections. Soon, we will begin deployment across the business. This will take several months and will be carried out on a unit-by-unit basis.

Benefits of the new PDAs:

Lighter and more durable
Ready for all-day use
Quicker and more responsive
Up to 10 hours battery life (plus one extra battery per PDA)
Can be updated quickly
Bigger display screen for easier signature capture.

Your manager will be told when your office will start to receive the new device. In the meantime, it’s important to continue to look after your existing PDA.

No, its okay they playing the new app that's pre-installed - I think it's called "Find a Neighbour Dumbass".

It won't let them progress till they do.

I'm sure I remember reading/hearing that it's supposed to be a two year rollout, so in theory those of us off the beaten path shouldn't be waiting more than the two years. Could be talking out of my hole like but I'm pretty sure that's what I've heard

It hasn't been that many years that all the duties in our rural office have had their own PDA , we used to scan as delivered all Tracked before we left the office , used paper sheets for all other sign for's.
