annual leave and thinking of leaving

Im thinking of handing in my notice but how does the whole annual leave work cause i know im owed a week?

get a print out of this years leave before you hand in your notice for proof of days left outstanding and time to query any days missing i.e b/h credits not yet added, also if you leave before this year finishes you'll have to knock some off because it'll show days left if you completed a full year, the balance left "should" be paid in final wage but they may delay, hence having a up-to-date copy in case they diddle you.
you could always call HR to see but guess they'll say they need your manager to confirm anything definite
