Hi. My partner (FT) has been off since last week. I'm PT and have come in having to finish prepping both frames with the remaining letters and All the packets whilst they find me a partner, which has been after 9:30 am. To say it's been a mess is an understatement, I've been running around like a headless chicken.
Anyway, I had 8 letters on the tip of my frame, seven were letters without a house number which I forgot to kill of in the morning. Four of these dont have a return address so I had no idea where they go.
The last one was a junk leaflet but still live mail that was a miss-sort in my last bundle yesterday, we were already well over our time so my partner said to take it back and endorse it with 'M/S'.
I totally forgot about it this morning due to having to come in early pretty stressed out (not paid but I knew I'd be miles behind as a spare was prepping). Obviously that's no excuse but I don't deliver to the street this letter is on so there's no reason why I wouldn't put it in the frame. An honest mistake that I would have realised when i'd have killed off those previous seven letters when I got back today.
Also, yesterday I forgot to let the comms on my PDA go through. I've never done this or made any other mistake until I've had to come in to two barely prepped frames.
Had a note saying the frame is a mess and to have an interview with a manager tomorrow. Should I be worried and should I take someone in with me?
Thank you.

Make sure you take your rep in with you. Explain the situation to him before hand and if he's any good you should be ok.
What ever you do, make sure you have your rep with you, do not be fobbed off, it is your right. If he's not available, tell them you want it posponed till he is.

Surely they go in the same place all your kill offs go, in the kill off box? It's of no concern of yours if there is a return address or not.camelelf wrote: seven were letters without a house number which I forgot to kill of in the morning. I don't even know what that means! I wouldn't worry about that, I don't think it's anything to do with you.camelelf wrote: Also, yesterday I forgot to let the comms on my PDA go through. I've never done this
I often do, so the first thing I do is see manager and say whats happening, do you want me to prep frames? That's when you get into the overrun / cut off discussion.camelelf wrote: I've had to come in to two barely prepped frames.
