senority when transferring

i will be transferring to an office closer to were i live do i carry my years of service with me or do i start fresh in my new office wanting to know if a repick of duties would i be senior to someone with less years service even tho they have worked longer in my new office

Are you transferring in before the repick takes place? If so then yes seniority stays with you, if transferring in during a repick the repick should be completed before you are allowed to transfer and then at that point you would have your seniority

Only lose Seniority if there's a "Break in Service" i.e you can't get a Transfer so Leave the Business and then Reapply for another job in a nearby office.

Really upset an old DOM of mine (plus a couple of Brown Nosers) when we had a Resign and I was way up the list in my "New" Offfice. "But you had a Break in Service didn't you"? No ...Sorry....Finished Office A on Saturday....Started Office B on Monday....Tough Luck Try Again!
