There has been some structural changes to our Sub Office duties effecting all the Posties.
Would it be reasonable to ask our DOM to revise our 318's to reflect this so our working hours actually reflect these changes ?
On a side issue but related can changes made to a particular duty only relate to a duty holder and not the float ?
If the requests from the Office are ignored / refused would the best course of action be to contact our Area rep ( we have no union representation ) and put a Disagreement in.
Sorry for the lack of detail but I do not want to identify my office for obvious reasons , I would like to go into any meeting knowing what options are open to us rather than be on the back foot from the beginning.
Many thanks

Re: Can we ask for revised 318's ?
Officially the 318(duty) should not be changed outside revision so if you manager changes your duty he should update the 318 . But the 318/duty should not be changed outside the agreed processes anyway .
They can't make a change to a duty and have a different structure for float/Rdc/ duty holder unless exeption under the equity act applys.

Thanks for the reply , as we suspected .
Can we insist that the 318's are updated to reflect the change , the main reason being so the " opportunity " for laspsing is reduced in the future , the change amounts to an extra 20 minutes per duty per day.
