Hi this is Anna from Workers Fight - here is latest Mount Pleasnt bulletin now fortnightly on Thursdays (not Wednesdays). I have also uploaded the front and back pages as pdfs because of cartoon on backpage which doesn't copy.
TRANSFUSION NEEDED!
We heard that between October and December, around 50 (or more?) of our mates will be freed from Her Majesty's Prison, taking EVRs. As usual, we wish them all the best, and for those who are retiring for good, we say: enjoy life! As for us staying, we can make HMP even more "lively" - if new blood is recruited!

NO COMPANY FOR "OLD" MEN
Yes, it is totally unacceptable that some of our workmates who wish to retire "early" are still working here! RM has enough money (in fact several hundreds of millions per year of profits, paid to shareholders) to afford to pay our lads a good pension at an early age… We've been doing all the work, after all, not shareholders!

DELAYS ALL OVER THE LAND
What on earth is happening with deliveries? Maybe EC is not so bad, however we're always short of drivers… But we hear that punters from Mull and Stirling in Scotland to Redbridge in Havering had no mail for ten days or more! Sounds like the Dutch-TNT mail scenario already! Where are all the delivery postmen and women we need?

DOOR 2 DUST BIN
According to second-hand car salesman Bob Gibson, the new D2D junk mail contract is "great news". We'd be with him if it was indeed about protecting jobs and not about breaking our backs for the sake of delivering trash.

MAKING US SICK
When we're off sick, the idea is to get better… Something that becomes almost impossible when we receive texts and phone calls from management to "check" on us, almost every day!
Maybe we can show them how well we feel, by organising collective messaging and multiple calling next time one of the managers gets sick… we could organise a rota an make sure their phones don't stop ringing!

PLAYING THE NURSE?
But it gets absolutely impossible for us in Romec to get better, when we have an elephant dressed up as a nurse stomping at our door! We do know someone who'll appreciate the visit, but not the rest of us!

OUR SLAM
SLAM = Stop, Look, Assess and Manage. If they want us to apply this for health and safety, they should apply it to our working conditions: Stop our poverty pay + Look at our facilities + Assess our staffing levels + Manage to recruit… and pay us more and give us extra holidays! This is what we mean by SLAM!

GAME OVER
So only one of the Romec elephants is left, and we wonder how the pat-ethic one is going to cope with the re-united teams (185 and the rest of MP)… surely he should have a bigger cupboard?

WHERE IS THE INSECTICIDE?
We know how well RM organises Processing work in here: a right mess from beginning to end. So much so, that some of us are asked to fill gaps, not once, not twice, but several times a day! And of course, the buzzy bee is busy bossing us around! We could do a whip round for a giant can of RAID, and see if it works against this kind of bee…

INSPECTOR CLUZOT TO THE RESCUE!
According to the Letter Box Study Group (believe it or not, such a thing exists), 200 post boxes are stolen per year - and some of these old post boxes can reach £6000 on the market (and more on the black market)! So RM has an internal security team planning to track down missing post boxes (yes, such a thing exists as well)... to sell them?

TURNING RED
So now we'll see the 1st class stamps turning purple for the next 12 months, thanks to the perseverance of the old Queen at her "job"… when what we'd like to see is them turning cheaper!

ANTI-UNION LAWS
Of course we should be angry about the government anti trade union bill, but it comes across as just a little hypocritical when we hear Dave Ward making his "stand", against this, given that he already signed a de facto no-strike deal behind our backs 2 years ago!

FACEBOOK'S GOT A FRIEND
For those who used to work in Rathbone place, you'll be glad to know that a well-known company is taking over the space: Facebook. This heavyweight in social media has a bit of a cheek tho', as it won't have to pay rent for the first 30 months! Will the MP development offer flats rent-free for 30 months, in the same spirit of charity?

MP DEVELOPMENT
Yes, in fact the whole MP development issue is being blown up again, because the MP Association group is challenging the RM-Boris plan once more. Good luck to them. They tell us to watch their space…

What a load of rubbish

Well as constructive criticism your posts is a little short, sadly its also inaccurate. Certainly the Stamp, MP, Postboxes and Facebook are factually correct. The other items are opinion based, and stating that opinions are rubbish without expounding why seems, well as pointless as shouting at the telly when you disagree with something.

Yes it was a bit longer (the bulletin's summer break) than usual this year but bulletin should be regular now... until the next summer break!
