Rest weeks with an extra Saturday off

We currently have the Wallington attendance pattern (1 week off in 6) and also have an extra Saturday off which the business is trying to stop due to not being able to retain Saturday staff. There's an appetite for SA on Saturdays but management want a commitment for 5 or 6 every week and if it fails they'll remove the extra Saturday. Your thoughts or ideas please....

Where do the hours that give you the extra Saturday come from? Depending where they came from and size of office it may not be as simple as just removing the extra Saturday off, ie if you are all working an extra 90 min every Tuesday (roughly as an example) to make up the extra day, how are they going to cover the extra workload on the day they will now be removing the extra hours from
