We had a finance bloke in today and when I asked what he was doing I was told he was doing a TM1, what is it?

Royal Mail (RM) is full of 'abbreviation-speak' ... it is amusing to hear managers speak this 'foreign' language hoping and praying that no-one actually challenges them on what they actually mean! 
It would take a lifetime to produce a book detailing each and every abbreviation that is used throughout the postal industry.
