Will my duty/walk be safe after being off on sick?

Post by cazmil »

Hi,
Could you please tell me if my duty/walk will be there for me after being off six weeks, possibly more starting with light duties, due to surgery.
I am a duty holder not a floater or reserve and have had duty since last repick. A bit worried with the revision and managers looking to take hours out of office.
Thanks in advance.

The revision will be what it will be,it shouldn't have no baring on you being ill or being on light duties.
Your rep 'should' keep the office informed all the way through the revision as well.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
