Re: Useless Information.
We used to get a half day's AL for Maundy Thursday, something to do with us being 'Royal' Mail'. It was carried over so that we got a full day's AL on our winter leave every other year.spen wrote:What's that ?
Iirc it was scrapped as part of the Way Forward Agreement 2000 and instead we got an extra day on our AL entitlement so new entrants got 4 weeks and one day for the first 5 years. Before that new entrants got 3 weeks and 3 days AL plus two 'priviledge' days and the Maundy Thursday half day.
We also gave up the 'Christmas Priviledge Day' and the 'Queen's Birthday Priviledge Day'.
