We started emptying post boxes on our P/L round last month and the other day my partner was off sick and I had to take out TWO PDA's to empty the boxes.
Also after scanning PDA's in the office by the time we go to scan the boxes the PDA's have lost the postbox details and we have do AD HOC to scan them.
This I have been informed is down to our round being in a dip. Even reconnecting to COMMS doesn't sort the problem out until we get to near the office and the 20 odd scanned items start to download and then the box details then appear on the screen.
Anyone have this problem?

Once you have successfully downloaded the 'running order' of boxes they remain on the PDA, even with a low battery unless you log off and reset on the back. I don't know how they have been wiped off the PDA otherwise unless it is faulty.
These sort of problems are common I think, comms come and go, the thing alarms off in your poacket all the time wasting energy, the infra-red scanning goes from ineffective on one button on front or side, the thing unlocks itself at will and starts going onto other wonderfully confusing modes but in my experience there are ways around it, annoying but can be done.

We are in a crap signal area and the box data doesn't show on the PDA also the reason behind having 2 PDA's is because the 5 boxes on my round are 2 on one PDA and 3 on the other
