Feel under appreciated

Does anyone else feel under appreciated? Customers moaning to us about this that or the other, Managers moaning about how we are not going fast enough, Guys in office complaining that we are bringing too many parcels back.

Yet we are going as fast as we can, under so much stress physically and mentally. We are the ones doing the hard work yet all we get is moaned at

It is thankless job :( and if you are lucky enough to be in right walk in right area for length of time, you can get your rewards in tips in Christmas.

It's something I've always thought and have told my manager
I don't think they appreciate or care much either
I think the public would be surprised at how much we do in a day
Fair and manageable work load !!!

Its become a thankless job in the last few years. Some of the older folks do appear to feel sorry for you when you drenched in freezing rain but the rest don't give a stuff.

Managers just seem to worry about targets before the actual workload. There are a few better managers but they don't seem to last that long.

It's a frustrating job too nowadays . Physically it does take a toll on you're body , and tired a lot etc . It's all about you're partner nowadays , if you end up with a bad un , it makes the job really hard . The only thing bosses worry bout is packets going out , not interested in if you have a life and want to just do you're hours.

just hang in there, dont expect managers to thank you for a job well done, as long as you know yourself that you did a good days work thats all that counts, you can rarely change others minds
