Dear PEC,
Even though I have supported the union with the official industrial action i have to say you really know how to de- motivate members of your union.
1st) You meet on Monday for about 5 hours and adjourn, people have spent longer on picket lines.
2nd) you promise a statement on Tuesday, well i am still waiting, thanks for telling the BBC first that you will be adjourning till Weds.
3rd) Your communication has been very poor, it seems managers have been briefed but we are still left in the dark.
Be under no illusion that the fate of us and the cwu are at stake.
If you agree to an agreement that still retains many of the strings including no d2d payments, no mtsf, flexibility and so on you could see the demise of the union.
I have been a member since 1977 and have remained loyal to the union, please don't test my patience by keeping me in the dark.
