Transfers
Does anyone know the process of how I can get a transfer to a nearby office ( in the town where I live ).I know they have a number of vacancies which they are looking to recruit against ,but my DOM is no help as he doesn't want me to leave as he will be short. The stupid thing is on Monday the DSM has told him he has to do a preference exercise to get volunteers for VR !

Re: Transfers
I've two people in my office F/T who want to transfer out one to Leeds and on to Liverpool and all they get is "you will have to go P/T". One of them is still down south whilst his family have had to move up to Leeds its causing him untold stress. The transfer system is not as easy as it seems, its just being used to reduce hours in offices all over the country. So if there is anyone out there who can help these two experienced postmen move to either Leeds or Liverpool area let me know.

Re: Transfers
I have heard the part time only thing mentioned too. Has anyone successfully kept their full time status when transfering?
