Would you say that the new "sorting & porting" regime is working in your office? or was the old "everyone on the IPS" better?

our porters lasted a few weeks then were put throwing walks out!
A porter is just a waste of a fulltimer!

We are using porters in our office. It is ok, but it is not nice to do portering :( I don't know if it is worth it or not, but it is nice not to have to keep collecting mail.

It\s a load of crap, this last week we've had everyone sorting till it was all done otherwise we would never leave the office. The porters are also sorting and called to porter the mail after about an hour or so (by which time theres about 5 trays plus for each walk so impossible to porter properly.

:thumbdown probably - £1000's of equipment has arrived and stored outside ready to transform our office - £1000's of pounds could have been saved by cutting out linos and morale and productivity would be higher :cuppa

We are so short staffed in our office, still lapsing 4 deliveries even though the mail has increased, so we have no one to do portering and whoever is on that delivery has to clear their own walks mail :thumbdown

No porters in my office, they got taken off for double prep and IPS but then we all knew that was going to happen.
I'm preparing myself for the zombie invasion, rule number 1 - Cardio
