I bet the price has only gone down because of the directors getting the free shares if they were still at a higher price moya would be getting a lot more now its looks as like she's not getting as much !!!!!

I'd like to know that also. The government of the day sold us off. The tried with free shares to entice us into being in favour. If and when we sell our 'free' shares we make a few quid that is all profit. It's hardly a con. You could have opted out.

I think Royal Mail management will keep these hot property until it is time to sell the shares for all employees and then sell hot property to boost dividends and shares price.

I read somewhere that the stock is supposed to go down after they pay out the dividends on Thursday. This is supposedly standard for every company but sadly, I expect a frenzy of lapsing, overtime banning, FTCs tossed out into the street, etc. etc.

I'd like to know that also. The government of the day sold us off. The tried with free shares to entice us into being in favour. If and when we sell our 'free' shares we make a few quid that is all profit. It's hardly a con. You could have opted out.

I think that the point that the original poster was trying to make was that, when you are able to sell your shares after the qualifying period, they will be worth (like Colleague Share) nothing? Mind you, if that's the case, RM will be bankrupt and TNT would have to step in and buy the company for a pound.
