Hi,
I recently went through a RTU where I was actually sacked. I did win my appeal and got my job back.
The RTU was kicked in after I broken my hip in a road traffic accident.
The issue I now have is I was sacked on 25th of April and reinstated on the Wednesday the second of May. Since that day I have back working full time. My concern is that I am still not on the Royal Mail payroll. HR had told me that my manager should of done a RCT form. Anyway I haven't been paid for two weeks, I am owed 6 days back pay plus the two weeks pay.
My concern also is , if I'm driving Royal Mail vans but have not been officially reemployed by them am I insured to work.
I do need my pay so I can pay bills

Go off with stress straight away, see your GP and get a note so that it is officially on your medical record, raise a grievance for unlawful deductions from wages and bang in an ET1 form. Wear a hidden camera when you go back to work because covert recording of bullying is evidence you can take to the police.

Or more realistically, contact HR and the union head office again. You were actually given that date to recommence employment, weren't you? You have the letter still?

Dismissed on the 25 April re-instated on the second of May, this must be the quickest hearing of an appeal against dismissal in the history of Royal Mail, is this a wind up ????

More than likely, Royal Mail are renowned for taking a year or two to reach appeal stage.
