I am very new to this game and have just got my second wage slip I worked 7.5 hours o/t last week but only got paid for 4.5 so whom do I see about the missing hours? would it be the office dom many thanks for any advice

One reason could be that you are not on a full time contract and 3 hrs of your 7.5 hrs was absorbed at your basic rate leaving the remaining 4,5 hrs at o/t rate.

many thanks for that I didn't explain very well I am on a 27.5 contract so none of the 7.5 hrs was on o/t it was just 3 lots of 2.5 hrs I expected plain time payment

Overtime for later in the week might be paid one week later.
Always keep count of exactly what you've claimed and hopefully you will get it all before long.
