Taken off my walk after 18 years at RM

We recently went into Park And Loop a few years ago I am with this guy since day one bit of a ass really blames me for everything anyway the story goes we cannot complete any day but when I am with someone else we can and visa vera so the DOMs has had a headache trying to sort it out anyway the upshot is they cannot identify who is at fault so they have taken us both off the walk and split us up regardless to what our rep has said. I'm now nearly 18 years there have no walk now don't know my day off from Adam apparently nothing I can do about it. Funny thing is the two guys on it now are back early every day?

Sounds like you 2 have shot yourselves in the foot . The DOM is now thinking you 2 were taking the pi** and to an extent it looks like you were.
Hes not going to change it now is he?

Its not about shooting ourselves in the foot we done the job right taking breaks etc coming in on the right time, they said they would test the walk they never, its the runners (Floaters that has ruined it once again) the walk is to big and un-achievable.

I was also wondering what the runners and floaters has to do with things...

The manager had very little choice; the other choice would have been if one of you volunteer to give up his rounds - Not! You clearly could not work together - and you did say that the other postie is a nob (but he still manages to finish with others )

p&l caused no end of problems for quite a few, i think they need a dating agency type machine to find a compatible pair
but when we first started, a late 30's bloke was paired up with a 60+
needless to say they struggled to complete, but all they got was grief off management, eventually the 60+ guy was forced into early retirement against his wishes, they then put another late 30's bloke in and promptly took a row off the duty!
i love the job, but the powers above are dragging it down,
today was the 1st time (i think) i've cut off in nearly 3 years whilst working with my usual oppo,
even after all the $hit over the years, i've never seen so many excellent posties pissed off with the comedians running the show over the last few weeks.

My point you were both completing when with different partners- so my point is valid

If the people they were with on those days didn't take their breaks then that can save 30 mins since they can carry on prepping the walk while they're having their break.

I often can't complete with my regular partner - get on well, we both come in on time, take our breaks and use trolleys. We don't skive, go slow or piss about - the dutys just too long to do properly.

If either of us is off we usually end up with a part-timer who comes in early (unpaid), works their break (unpaid), doesn't do IPS as they're part-time and so carries on prepping our walks instead which gets us out earlier and then once out runs round with a bag on their shoulder.

The part-timer usually then gets his loop done first and either comes looking for me and grabs a bundle or two or shoots off in the van and gets a few attended calls done. Makes my day easier

They should be looking to test you both and your duty to find the problem you're within you're rights to put in a grievance because they have assumed and not done any fact finding
