Anyway the issue i have and raised with my rep and dom is that for the last 2 years i have been working 43hrs one week, 42 another, 37 another 39.5 another ect..basically longs and shorts every week with 4 of the weeks been over the 39hrs and 2 been under. I was told at the time when this all kicked in at the revision that yes some weeks you will work more than 39hrs and others you will work less, but over 6 weeks it evens itself out to 39hrs per week???
Now my main concerns is yes it may even itself out over the 6 weeks, but does it over the year as 6 doesn't go in to 52? and if you are a reserve and always get the shorter day off every week (Tuesday) you are basically doing 42hrs every week for 39hrs pay. My pay slip also says 39hrs every week regardless of working the 43hrs or the 37hrs per week which i think is all wrong as the weeks i work longer than 39hrs should they hours not be paid at o/t rate as we are doing more than the 39hrs? Should my dom not be putting through the correct hours i do every week rather than just putting 39 all the time?

lol but what i want to know basically is does 39hr contract mean what it says or can they do what they are doing which seems to be selling us short in my opinion and the response from my rep and dom says not to worry it does even itself out and think your self lucky you are not a reserve.I should add that we work 5 out of 6 days with a rotational day off every week unless you are a reserve. Any help or info on this would be great.
