Can anyone put in a request to take a van home because someone has said that cause Ive transferred from a different office i wouldn't be allowed to take a van home is this correct ?

I suppose it would depend on what the norm is for office you have transferred to.

You wouldn't be allowed if no one else in your new office does,could be wrong though

Everyone else is allowed to take a van home but there saying i cant seems very odd

First of all the official business position is that you can only take a van home if there is no available parking for that van at your DO...obviously it's a rule that isn't followed very closely.

As for transferring it will depend if you have received ETE payments, obviously if the business has already paid you excess travel to cover the cost of your relocation they are hardly going to supply you with a van.

Yes. We have loads of walkers being dropped off and the driver goes back to the office.
