Bullying and Harassment are really ATOS !

A colleague involved in a grievance procedure has been experiencing harassment from a manager since the grievance was put in.

Anyway today he telephoned the Bullying & Harassment helpline for some advice.....was told that as there is a grievance already going through the motions that they could not offer any advice and to contact the Union...fair enough.


On the rejection letter about the level 2 grievance it states that if he has any queries and needs advice to contact Atos, so he did.

Exactly the same person answered the phone !

When he queried this the bloke said yes he was the same person and again he could not offer any advice and he should contact the Union.
Mt colleague then asked that as he had been asked for his name and office if these details were logged and he was tole they are. he isn't concerned about that as if anythin it shows he is concerned enough to have contacted both departments.

Now i have had plenty of dealings with Atos and have generally found them to be useless to say the least.

But was anyone else aware of who is actually running our Bullying and Harassment Helpline ?

Atos gave my then Dom the answers he wanted.I also had a greivance in local rep saw what he was doing and like your colleague the Dom targeted me.Get area rep involved and wat ch your back it cost me my job

Area Rep seems to want very little to do with it all. He has told us he thinks we have a unbeatable case as it's all backed by both National and Local Agreements, but he hasn't offered us much help otherwise.

Of course that may be to do with the national cull on Union Reps by RM, by way of suspensions and things, he may just be treading very carefully.

We're going to see what happens with the stage 3 grievance and if we get no joy will contact Union GQ with regard going to tribunal.
