Just checked my bank account online and my wages for this week that were due to be paid this friday (27th december) was actually credited to my account today, it went in to my available balance and was available for me to withdraw today,

Did this happen to everyone else

any idea why this happened as friday is not a bank holiday and wage slip said pay date 27/12/13 lol

Just checked mine and it looks like I got paid yesterday too. Bizarre, because the 27th is a normal working day, isn't it? Oh, and Angard pays me, not Royal Mail!

Haven't checked if the money is in.
It did state Friday 27th as pay date on wage slips.

Well mybpay hasn't gone in. Be Friday for me as per usual

On a normal week the payroll file is presented to the banks on a wednesday.
Obviously that wasn't possible this week so the file must have been presented earlier.
It was not expected to make any difference to our pay dates and the expected pay date was still the 27th however as most will now have realised we were in fact paid early.
Don't spend it all on booze and loose women/men.
There is no guarantee we will be paid early next week.
