I think they WILL have the necessary software to implement it that quickly. The calculations won't need to be done individually! They'll have everything ready, to change everyone over to the new basic rate, overtime/SA rates etc etc. Just a case of formally getting notification of the ballot result, surely? If it's a "No" in the ballot, they just continue using current payscales....

Kind regards
All hours as the basic rate itself has changed affecting all hours worked.

Why s it taking so long to organise the ballot? It's taking 6 weeks to organise the ballot but you expect HR to turn it around in a day. It'll probably take weeks.

The reps have to be briefed.
The members have to be briefed.
Communications have to be sent out.
The agreement has to be sold.
And in the words of the great Mutton-chopped philosopher Noddy Holder.....It's christmas.
