Came off the ips today at 08.25 to find my delivery had not been looked at , let alone touched :
1. 4 boxes of mech + every single hole crammed full with letters on the ips frames
2. doubled up layers of flats & large letters on my frame and the top of my frame
3. 5 D2D's
4. the floor surrounding my frame was covered in packets
And when I complained that it was unfair other deliveries were getting thrown off and mine had not I was told my attitude was bad ??
WTF.... I don't even want to think about the next 3 weeks because our office is going to be a nightmare

that's gotta be down to a slack DOM. Our Dom walks around the frames regularly and he will usually have one person (your partner) prepping two frames. There is never a frame left untouched especially at 08.25.When you have finished the IPS then 80% of your frame shouldve been prepped up. Think your DOM needs telling. 08.25 is a joke.

We had lapsing too......our gaffer also said x'mas pressure hasn't arrived yet in our delivery office...only in the mail centre...and traffic...(oh I love that word)...was more or less not too bad...hence the reason we still have lapsing.....yet other offices near us had no lapsing due to (you've guessed it)...x'mas pressure...

i wouldve went home sick. wudda sickened the dom if nothing else.

I would love that, just work your hours not a second more. I think you will find it will start getting thrown off after a few managers have to take out what you leave in.
yep early starters in an hour early for there hour early start as they new the mail would be prepped will they ever learn.Who really would go into work two hours early to many posties are just plain THICK.
