Royal mail have not properly made provisions for the massive increase in the number of parcels. Some of the large ones should be going with PFORCE
Even mail has failed. Walks have been left in overnight and all weekend and in some cases staff have been delivering 2 days mail in one shift. The shortage of staff is shameful and the truth of the matter is WE ARE ALL TO BLAME FOR THIS SHAMEFUL SHAMBLES!!! SELLING YOUR SUOL FOR ABOUT 300 QUID!!!
Customers need to know what a shambles the whole RM operations is. Again I will asked the question Where is our union? Lets be honest the staff need to take some of the blame as well. Comming in early, taking no breaks, taking more out than they should. The working practices in a lot of cases are one of law breaking. This is by far the most unprofessional company I have ever worked for. Why cant they employ some of the 100s of 1000s of people this tory lead government are leaving to rot!!
I myself will continue to do the job properly and NEVER work over my time. If they dont like my honest and reasonable working practices they can always try to get rid of me AGAIN!! SHAMEFUL!!!!!!!!

Moya appeared on our wonderful RMTV WTLL screens months ago declaring that we are now a parcel company. I’m afraid it’s not quite that simple. To suddenly call yourself something that you aren’t designed to do might sound wonderful to the pen pushers who know nothing of the difference between the logistics of delivering letters and parcels

All I can say is our office hasn't a chance in hell of clearing all the packets this christmas ... the reason I know this simple, we can't clear them now let alone the coming 3 weeks of mayhem
