jus think
what percentage of packets have actually been requested by people whereas what percentage of letters have been requested?
i would rather have my packet delivered on time and my letters a day later. most letters are unsolicited crap anyway!!!!

Too right mate - While we are trying our hardest to deliver our customers REQUESTED items and purchases, we are being hijacked by all the companies , paying other firms first then rm a fraction of the cost, to deliver their bloody adverts!

Yet why do the managers insist this loss making product and d2d's have priority?

because some one up high is getting a very nice back hander thank you very much.

Used to be the case that end to end quality of service was measured only on letters/flats, no test packets but plenty of test letters. So it did not matter that 10 yorks of packets failed as this would have no bearing on quality results! Maybe different now, certainly with tracked packets.
