shares allocation letter

Post by korky »

who do you call if you think its wrong?
nobody in HR or the other number they give you in the options can help?

i expected to get it based on a ft 39 hours with all the overtime I'd done, missing 2 wages slips but estimated an average of 41 p/w at least.
they've calculated my shares at 37 p/w (589 with 108 to come) which is quite a lot missing over 13 weeks, especially when the 2 missing slips were quite higher than normal according to my bank statements.
nobody has the info to tell me, but my gut feeling is i did quite a few hours at another d/o during that time which may have been paid but not have been counted in the average?

How do you find out the amount of hours theyve based it on?

Who cares. 3 years is a very long time to see if they are worth hardly anything we were given free shares just so we can feel part of the game ,,

I guess you have to track down the missing pay slips and get your hour worked out accurately from your end. If you are still sure that you should have received the full allocation of 725 - then write to HR in the first instance, copy your manager. And when you get a reply, you can take it from there...

There are still lots of shares available because some people have already left and some more will leave before the next allocation. GL.

* This probably one of the reasons why the allocation letters were delayed. It must have taken some time to calculate and verify the PT allocation.

3 years is nothing if you wish to remain with RM - the time will soon come and your shares will be worth something - certainly not zero.

Anyway, that sort of statement is not that relevant to this case - RM (shares traded on the stock exchange) vs Colleague Shares: no comparison!

based on the assumption is 725 shares per full timer
my 697 shares equates to 725/39 = 18.59 per hour/share x 37.5 = 697

pass on the missing wage slips, but i have all but 2 and based on my net pay can guess within an hour or 2, and erring on the lighter side i still average 41ish

well done korky. Absolutely right!

so you might be down 28 shares. About £100 give or take and there is the dividends as well. What is the cost of a letter? To a postie - probably nothing. Go for it? There will be more like you and this will get to Moya eventually...

I wonder whether you can ask for duplicate pay slips. I guess it is HR or Payroll again...

613 now and a further 112 after april 2014 because of a £3000 limit why could they not give us our 10% in full at the launch when the price was £3.30 :confused

I'm sure i've read somewhere in all the bumph that shares are capped for F/Ters and only the P/Ters who have worked overtime in a certain period would accrue more shares than P/Ters who just worked flat weeks.

Because, if you read the bumph sent to you, the allocation price was always going to be the mid-price at close of business, 15th October 2013.
Would you have preferred the price to have slumped below the float price , just so you could receive them all, in one hit?

no I just thought why they could not give us the shares at the opening bid price the same as if you had bought them
