The British public says that the CWU should accept the pay offer* from Royal Mail and call off the plans to strike.
That was the view of 72% of the general public when asked about the main elements of the proposed deal in an Ipsos MORI survey.

The company said an Ipsos Mori survey it commissioned found 78% of Britons think the company's pay offer is fair or very fair, and 72% of the 1,468 people polled said the union should accept it and call off the strike.

So there are only 1,468 people in the UK? Did I miss the apocalypse?! Sure, I have left the usual excessive amount of P739s on delivery this week but I just thought that was due to people being at work or out shopping. I didn't think it was because I was one of the last remaining people alive in the UK... I AM POSTMAN LEGEND!

No, of course it's just the usual propaganda from Royal Mail. So if you hear or read the 72% survey result repeated by people as we get closer to a strike, YOU KNOW THE TRUTH! If it's said to you in a meeting by a brainwashed manager, please tell them the amount of people who were actually polled.

If Royal Mail can get the numbers of the population wrong, do they still have the credibility to tell us that the numbers of mail volumes are down?
